Connexional Council to meet in Honduras

The annual meeting of the Connexional Council will this year be held in the Roatan Circuit in the Republic of Honduras from May 23 - 31, 2011.  This will be the first time that the Council will be held in Republic of Honduras.  There are two MCCA Circuits in Honduras and these are part of the Belize/Honduras District.  The Council is the executive of the Connexional Conference and meets between the triennial meetings of the Conference and acts on behalf of the Conference.

At this meeting, along with the usual business, the Council will name the Connexional President-Designate who will replace Rev'd. Dr. George Mulrain at the 2012 Connexional Conference.  The Council will also nominate to the Conference persons to be appointed as Connexional Vice President, Connexional Secretary and Treasurer of the Connexional Funds.  It is anticipated that this will be the last meeting of the current Council; as a new Council will be appointed at the meeting of the Connexional Conference in May 2012.
